Monash Dance Fusion Club 2011 Annual Concert_Dance A La Carte!

I had been missing from this page for the past 2 weeks. So what were I up to? RESEARCH AND DANCE!!

Phew, finally the dance concert which ran for two days (6th and 7th of May) is over! The preparation for that two days took us more than a few months. The sweats, the pants, the stress in memorizing steps, cleaning up steps, building up flexibility and strength, how to communicate with dance partner, how to work together in a dance group, all these are not easy and I could confidently say that I am again one big step above where I was previously.

I posted a note right after the concert to thank everyone for their helps and supports throughout all these time which is as below:

Thanks to everyone in MDFC for spicing up my life with all the laughter and all the mou liu moments. We danced together, we had dinner/supper together, and the next week we burned the fats again together during spartan.. Am gonna miss all these moments!!

Special thanks Lorence and Eric for helping me to get my costumes, thanks to Peggy for the cosmetics, Ivan and Carmen for the hairspray, Ivan for all the musics and videos, Eric, Ray and Ken for helping me to review the guys' steps. Not to forget my partner Adeline for all your time spent with me practicing dance, helping me to get ready with the song, the deco for my costume. Also thanks to yinny for all the updates on the meeting and training sessions.. Also thanks to all photographers for the awesome pictures! Zen Xern and Yinny for the designing works, and of coz all the MDFC committees for preparing everything for us... =) Besides, thanks for our emcee who i bet had a hard time pronouncing all our food names...

Also, thanks to my lab mates Akriti , Vonny Ivon Leo, Ameena Zacky and sister, Yen Ming, Khoo, Jasmine Cheah, Chee Sian, Jimmy, Michael, my dearest friends Jess Kang, Alvin Soh, Xuan Jing and Chor Yen, Li Jin and Kenny for coming and supporting us. Hope you guys enjoyed the show! Though we are not professional dancers, but we had tried our best..

It is the passion that makes up this big family. Keep the passion going and keep the friendship alive =)
